Fiat

You say yes to the dove and a song nestles into your ear. One note trickles down to sear the walls of your lily heart. That note implants deep in your womb. It contains x and it contains y. It casts shadows of swords and a marble pieta.

You command revels and reign over sorrows. You hoard memories like pearls in a strongbox. You speak three times and savor glimpses. There will be one to tell when the spices are gone and another son will bear you.

You will wear coronas and stand on the crater’s rim. You will climb the red sky on raptor wings. You will perch untouched by the dragon flood. You will smile with enigma eyes forever.
