In Adoration

Holy One of earth and all,
Heal and help me,
Fix these aging body-bones
So the electric lamps dim
And adorers remain
Kneeling-breathing
Illumined by your
Sacred glow.
I long to remain
In this cavern of bonding and belong
Because the city doesn't
Din up these stones.
You know my work is beckoning.
I'll give you all me
To move me
Home.
